We’re busting some moves and myths on Virgin Radio Pride this week.

Beating the Monday blues is Steve Denyer with another episode of My Pride Playlist tonight (25th July).

He’ll be joined by It’s A Sin star David Carlyle, who will share all the behind the scenes stories from the set of the hit Channel 4 drama. He’ll also discuss his recent marriage and share his coming out story as well as his obsession with Celine Dion!

On Tuesday (26th July) The Logbooks will once again dive into the records of LGBTQ+ helpline, Switchboard. This week, hosts Tash Walker and Adam Zmith will look into the lives of those in the LGBTQ+ community with disabilities.

The 1990s saw a definite shift in the right direction, with legal change, growing awareness, and a place at the front of the Pride march. Queer disability rights campaigners and, of course, Switchboard volunteers, will be on hand to discuss about taking calls about intersecting identities, and Erin Ekins will share her about the experience of being queer and neurodivergent today.

On Wednesday (27th July), Benjy and Rod are joined by the creator of hit TV show This Is Going To Hurt,, Adam Kay, as he picks his top LGBTQ+ TV moments on Telly Talks.

Adam discusses his coming out journey, life on the frontline of the NHS, the process of creating This Is Going To Hurt and, of course, picks some stellar TV moments.

Thursday’s Matt Cain Meets (28th July) will focus on Britian’s first out Muslim Drag Queen, Asifa Lahore.

Matt will discover more about Asifa’s fascinating LGBTQ+ journey and how they push the boundaries of what it means to be LGBT, South Asian and Muslim.

Over the weekend, Todrick Hall and Anthony Gargiula will take part in Quite A Queer Conversation on Sunday from 6pm, discussing the Big Conversation of the week.

All this week on Virgin Radio Pride, hosts and guests will be discussing the facts and myths of sexual health in the LGBTQ+ community.

Emma Goswell will also be catching up with Richard Angell from The Terrence Higgins Trust and trans author Juno Roche to chat all about the Big Conversation from 7pm on Sunday.
