Good news for Ben Affleck fans, as it's been confirmed he will reprise his role of Batman in a new project.

He will be donning the suit again for the new Aquaman sequel.

His co-star Jason Momoa confirmed the news in an excited social media post.

Updating fans on Instagram, Momoa explained they would be "reunited" for the new film, which is scheduled for release next year.

He said the secret was "busted" by a tour on the Warner Bros backlot tour.

Imagine going on a tour and stumbling across these Hollywood A-listers?

“REUNITED bruce and arthur,” Momoa wrote.

“Love u and miss u Ben WB studio tours just explored the backlot alright. Busted on set, all great things coming AQUAMAN 2, all my aloha J.”

The sequel has been hit with controversy with many petitions calling for star Amber Heard not to appear, following her court cases with Johnny Depp.

It's a good year so far for Ben, after it was revealed he has married Jennifer Lopez in an adorable ceremony.
