Another one bites the dust on Celebrity MasterChef 2022. Spoilers ahead!

The three stars feeling the heat of the kitchen last night (25th August) were former footballer Jimmy Bullard, Birds of a Feather star Lesley Joseph, soap star Richard Blackwood and TV and radio presenter Kirsty Gallagher.

The group managed to keep judges John Torode and Gregg Wallace on their toes throughout the competition with some impressive attempts, but someone had to be sent home ahead of the quarter-final.

First up was a 20-minute Crepe Suzette, which is an incredibly thin pancake topped with caramel and orange zest.

Darjeeling Express head chef Asma Khan then arrived to challenge the foursome to recreate one of her impressive recipes.

Their final dish had to include veggies as the centrepiece, and Lesley became somewhat of a series favourite throughout the episode with her surprisingly delicious dishes.

One celeb did have to be sent home, and unfortunately for Kirsty, her attempts weren’t enough to keep her in the competition.

Reflecting on her time on the show, the telly personality said: “I'm fine... I've loved every minute of this. I mean it would've been lovely — of course it would — to have gone on.

"But I think probably, I've gone as far as was correct for me. Those three are the three that should go through."

The previous night, The Wire actor Clarke Peters was given the boot, and now Richard, Lesley and Jimmy will all move on to the semi-finals.

Last week, Chris Eubank won over the Celebrity MasterChef viewers with his hilarious commentary.

While he was ultimately sent home from the competition, viewers watching at home were less interested in the boxer's culinary skills, and were rather tickled by his hilarious commentary instead.

Prior to kicking off the first challenge, the sports star confidently said he’d do better than the other contestants because they would “complain” too much, and then when asked if he was scared of a pasta maker, he simply replied: “Once you’ve been smacked in the teeth by Nigel Benn, you’re quite used to fear.”

Celebrity MasterChef 2022 continues on BBC One tonight (Friday 26th August) at 9pm.
