Nine Perfect Strangers actors Nicole Kidman and Luke Evans have gone from co-stars to singing partners.

The pair have teamed up for a cover of Say Something, which won A Great Big World and Christina Aguilera the 2015 Grammy for Best Pop Duo/Group Performance. Kidman and Evans’ version of the song will appear on the latter’s new album, which is set to land on 4th November.

Australian legend Nicole has taken to Instagram to share a video of the pair performing the song. Captioning the clip, she wrote: “Thank you darling @TheRealLukeEvans for asking me to be a part of this duet! 🥰🎶 Listen to “Say Something” from his gorgeous new album #ASongForYou”

Luke also posted the video on his Instagram page: “Say Something, a duet from my new album, A Song For You, featuring the phenomenal @nicolekidman, is out now…. The song is so moving and beautiful to sing. It was an absolute joy to finally hear Nicole’s, and my voice, together on this incredibly emotive track. Thank you again, Nicole, for saying yes to recording with me…!”

Fans were wowed by the duet. One commenter wrote: “You should sing more often, Nicole. Your voice is amazing!”

Another said: “It's time for Nicole Kidman to get her Grammy!”

Someone else suggested she work with her husband, country singer Keith Urban, writing: “Go Nicole… wow! I would love to hear you and Keith sing something together! I see a new career for Nicole Kidman.”

Kidman and Evans became friends after working for months on hit series Nine Perfect Strangers, which takes place at a boutique health-and-wellness resort that promises healing and transformation as nine stressed city dwellers try to get on a path to a better way of living.

And if you want more Luke Evans in your world, then you can watch him take to the Celebrity Gogglebox sofa tonight (28th October), alongside another singing sensation, Charlotte Church, for a Stand Up To Cancer special.
