I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! 2022 star Mike Tindall has already shocked his fellow campmates and the nation, but in a very unexpected way.

The former Rugby Union player, who is married to King Charles’ niece Zara Phillips, had jaws to the floor on Monday night (7th November), not with any royal gossip, but with his surprising rapping skills.

While sat around the campfire with former Lioness Jill Scott, Loose Women’s Charlene White and Boy George, Mike had audiences at home in stitches with his impromptu performance of Vanilla Ices’ iconic track Ice Ice Baby.

The campmates were discussing their love of 90s music, so it made sense the sportsman was quick to jump in with his own take on the infamous rhymes.

After rapping each lyric to perfection, Mike, now dubbed “Vanilla Mike” by his fellow stars, then admitted he also knew all the words to Boom! Shake the Room by DJ Jazzy Jeff & the Fresh Prince, which led to the entire camp singing along.

Speaking in the Bush Telegraph, an impressed Boy George said: “Mike today has really come out of his shell and he didn’t just do a bit of the song, he did the entire song.”

Fans at home were left in hysterics with Mike’s impressive rap, with many taking to social media to praise the royal for being an unexpected rap maestro.

One viewer tweeted: “Mike Tindall is bossing I’m a celeb - I so did not expect his encyclopaedic knowledge of 90s cheesy rap but I’m loving it !! #ImACeleb”

Another fan commented: “I’m after your examples please of moments in your life where you weren’t expecting that…….after Mike Tindall displayed his rapping skills on I’m a celeb last night and took everyone by surprise…..”

Others are currently calling for Mike to be crowned King of the Jungle after witnessing his musical skills, with another Twitter viewer adding: “Mike Tindall wins I’m a Celeb calling it now.”

Meanwhile, viewers should soon find out what happened when Olivia Attwood was sent home from the jungle following medical advice. She remained in the programme yesterday through pre-recorded segments, but fans will likely find out what happened tonight.

I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! continues nightly at 9pm on ITV and ITV hub.
