Married At First Sight UK will bring back brides and grooms of (Christmas) past and present in their upcoming festive reunion show.

E4 have confirmed some of the singletons featured in series one and two will come together for a Christmas special, during which we’ll catch up with what the couples have been up to since their experiment ended.

According to the broadcaster, not only will the reunion give an insight into where fan-favourite brides and grooms are today, but there may be some new connections made during the festivities.

Who is returning for the Married At First Sight UK Christmas Special?

From series one, fans can expect to see Alexis, Amy and Nikita around the table for the Crimbo special.

Alexis was unlucky in love on series one, after her husband, Jordan, left her for Megan following the first dinner party. She then returned to the experiment in a new couple with Ant Poole, who was previously with Nikita.

Amy was previously married to Joshua, but the love didn’t last and they ended up going their separate ways.

From series two, we’ve got a happy couple in the mix with Zoe and Jenna as well as singletons Jordan, Pjay, Duka, Adrian, Thomas and Jonathan. Series two left many brides and grooms without a significant other - you can find out who is still together here

The official synopsis for MAFS UK’s Christmas reunion reads: “As they reunite at a festive dinner party, they’ll confront ghosts from Christmas past and present. But as the evening unfolds - will any new friendships form? Will exes confront each other? Will any budding romances blossom under the mistletoe?

“At a Married at First Sight UK Christmas dinner, anything can happen…”

In a statement about the upcoming release, Commissioning Editor, Mel Bezalel, said: “The latest series of Married at First Sight UK has been a phenomenal success on E4 and All 4; there’s no better way to see out 2022 than a seasonal special with some of our favourite brides and grooms.

“Married at First Sight is such a unique experience, we’re excited to bring two casts together and see what new connections might form across the dinner table and even under the mistletoe…”

Married At First Sight UK: Christmas Reunion will air later this year on E4.
