The Masked Singer panel is set to get bigger this weekend, as three celebrities are reportedly set to join regulars Jonathan Ross, Davina McCall, Rita Ora and Mo Gilligan on the show.

The trio of new guest panellists reportedly include Peter Crouch, who is temporarily returning to the panel after a stint on The Masked Dancer last year. Crouch is no stranger to Saturday evening telly, as he recently made a hilarious appearance on Michael McIntyre's BBC show, where he found himself in bed next to Holly Willoughby!

Comedian Lee Mack will be joining the former footballer as a guest judge on The Masked Singer, as will member of the Virgin Radio family, Stephen Mulhern, according to The Sun. Jonathan Ross, Davina McCall, Rita Ora and Mo Gilligan will be there as usual.

The show has now reached the quarter-finals stage, and Saturday will see TWO celebs eliminated, meaning that there will be just five left at the conclusion of this weekend.

A source to The Sun said: “The Masked Singer remains a huge Saturday night show for ITV, with over five million viewers last weekend.

“They’ve thrown the budget at a raft of star panellists as they cruise towards the big finale next month.”

Last weekend, Pigeon became the latest character to reveal themselves on The Masked Singer. You can find out who was behind the mask here.

The remaining contestants are now Fawn, Jacket Potato, Rhino, Phoenix, Knitting, Jellyfish and Otter.

Host Joel Dommett joined The Chris Evans Breakfast Show with cinch recently to speak about the hit ITV show. On the secrecy regarding who is inside the costumes, he said: “The producers love it because they’ve got a secret they hold on to. There’s only about six or seven people on the entire team that know who is behind the mask.”

When speaking about how difficult it is to work out which celebs are hiding inside the costumes, the comedian told Chris: “In the studio, it is harder. I would say it's harder because [their voice] is a bit more muffled in the studio, and then when you watch it on television, you go ‘Oh, I see it now.’”

Saturday’s The Masked Singer airs at 7pm on ITV1.
