Daisy May Cooper shakes with nerves meeting 'most beautiful man in the world' Ben Shephard on Good Morning Britain

CONTAINS THE MASKED SINGER SPOILERS: Daisy May Cooper lost the plot as she met the man of her dreams, Ben Shephard, on the Good Morning Britain sofa.

The comedian was gifted a blanket with Ben's face printed all over it and ran into the ITV studios to Whitney Houston's I Will Always Love You as they came face-to-face for the first time.

The star is so enamoured with the presenter she dedicated her memoir Don’t Laugh It’ll Only Encourage Her to him although they had never met and told him: "I’m shaking. You are the most beautiful man in the world. It’s like you've been chiselled from marble. My heart is pounding out of my chest. You smell like what I wanted you to."

"How do I smell?" Ben asked.

Daisy replied: "Like a bunny rabbit."

He responded: “Do you think so? That’s really lovely.”

Ben asked her about a new series of Am I Being Unreasonable, but Daisy joked: "I just got lost in your eyes!"

Laughing, Ben said to Susanna: “You do the talking, I'll just sit here.”

Daisy continued: "It's coming back I promise you, we're currently writing it. But it's so hard because we've got to top what we did last time."

Talking about her latest role as Otter in ITV's singing reality show The Masked Singer, the British actress said: "When I got the phone call saying do I want to do Masked Singer, I told my daughter and she cried because she’s embarrassed of me. You can’t get anything right.

"She loved [Otter] but preferred Ghost to me. And so was my son. You don't know who the other Masked Singers are until they are revealed on television.

"You have a visor on so you can't see anything. It's really weird when you're doing a group rehearsal. You're thinking who is this?!

"It's the best job I've ever done in my life. I can't sing, I sound awful. I thought I was going to pass out."
