Daisy Jones & The Six premieres Friday, March 3rd on Prime Video.

Reese Witherspoon, who is executive producer of new Prime Video series, Daisy Jones & The Six, has said that she hopes Fleetwood Mac icon Stevie Nicks will enjoy the show.

The series is inspired by Taylor Jenkins Reid's 2019 book of the same name, and tells the story of a 1970s rock band as they ascend from the LA music scene to become one of the most legendary groups on the planet, while also exploring the reason behind their split.

Hmmm. Can't think why she'd hope the series comes on Stevie's radar...

Ahead of the show's launch this Friday, Witherspoon told Variety who she'd like to appear in the second season, should Daisy Jones get renewed by the streaming platform of course.

"Stevie Nicks!" she said, excitedly. "I hope Stevie watches the show. I think she'll love it."

Fellow cast-member Sam Claflin - who plays Billy Dunne in the show - told the publication he would like The Boss to feature next time around.

"Bruce Springsteen," he said. "I'm so heavily influenced on Billy by Bruce, I would need a bit of Bruce."

"Bruce would have to show up somehow," reiterated showrunner Scott Neustadter. "I'm from New Jersey so it's in the blood. It's Bruce Springsteen forever."

We would like to see Scottish popsters Middle of the Road, performers of the insanely irritating/catchy 'Chirpy Chirpy, Cheep Cheep', but ignore us because we're weird.
