If you need some last-minute Christmas cheer before the big day, look no further than a load of sausage dogs dressed in their festive finery.

For the last five years, the Christmas Hyde Park Sausage Walk has seen a number of adorable pups come out in their favourite holiday outfits.

They’re hard to miss in their Christmas costumes, with some choosing to be a snowman, a little elf, or even a Christmas turkey.

The monthly dog walking event also had a spooky Halloween event this year, and has plans for a loved-up Valentines day walk too.

The adorable walk was set up by Ana R and her own mini-dachshund Winston, according to the official Meet Up site.

According to Ana and Winston, they came up with the Hyde Park Sausage Walk as they ‘thought that it would be ideal to create a group to meet on a regular basis with other dachshund owners. Meeting at the side of the Italian Fountains, from where we will go for a walk with the dogs to a space within the park where they can play around.’

Participating pups like Chips decided to don some fluffy baubles on their festive green jumper, while adorable Biggie Smalls looked good enough to eat as an adorable turkey.

And now we know what event we’re looking forward to most next year.
