Marvel Avengers fans rejoice. A special campus is opening up in Disneyland Paris this summer, promising 'thrill-packed adventures’ for everyone to channel their inner action hero.
Disney revealed the exciting news, while Global Public Relations Coordinator Andi Sakowski, said: “Created by Tony Stark himself to discover, recruit and train the next generation of Super Heroes, recruits will be empowered to take an active role alongside Earth’s Mightiest Heroes.
“This includes two action-packed attractions where you can sling webs like Spider-Man or fly into space with Iron Man and Captain Marvel.”
The Marvel Avengers Campus will include the Avengers Assemble: Flight Force ride, thought to be 'every thrill seeker’s dream’ where you will be equipped with ‘Mark 80 armour for his missions at Avengers Campus in Paris’.
Sakowski explained: “And there’s no time to waste as recruits join not only Iron Man, but Captain Marvel herself on a mission through space in a vehicle Stark has equipped with a homing device, to lure this threat away from Earth.”
Also boasting a Spider-Man W.E.B. Adventure, channel your inner Peter Parker using 'specially designed, innovative technology that recognises body movements and gestures to let you create spiderwebs'.
How does it work? All you have to do is ‘reach out your hands and start slinging webs from your wrists’ as ‘the Spider-Bots multiply, becoming harder and harder to beat’.
"It’s time to team up with Spidey and help capture the out-of-control Spider-Bots, Peter Parker’s robot sidekicks, before they wreak havoc on the Campus," Disney explained.
“After helping Spider-Man complete the mission, recruits will be able to see how many Spider-Bots they caught as a team in their vehicles.”
Hungry? There's a number of ‘all-new dining experiences’ to choose from, including Pym Kitchen, an ‘innovative science lab where food and drinks tell the story' plus a quick-service restaurant called Stark factory serving up homemade pizzas, salads, fresh pasta and more'.
Tuck into the Worldwide Eating Brigade, a food truck selling Asian noodles and coconut balls or the Fan-tastic Food Truck offering hot dogs, vegan sausages and ‘cheesecake on a stick’, plus a traditional American Super Diner.
The campus opens to the public on 20 July.
