There's nothing more annoying than when your food goes bad quickly.
Particularly with food prices increasing, many of us are trying to cut corners and making food last for longer is one way to do it.
A food blogger has shared a tip that's got everyone talking.
Marie Saba's hack is simple and - even better - affordable.
You just need a sheet of kitchen roll to make your greens last longer.
On Instagram Marie explained that you just pop a sheet of kitchen roll inside a bag of salad, to make it last longer.
She says: ‘When you get home with bagged greens, cut open the bag and put a paper towel inside.
‘The paper towel will absorb moisture and keep the greens fresher longer.’
So you can bid slimy salad farewell.
Commenters replied with their thoughts about the hack.
One person replied: "I’ve been doing this forever. I empty the bag of vegetables to check for any “yucky ones”, place a paper towel in the bottom of the bag then place the veggies back in the bag."
Someone added: "They last longer and it keeps them from getting glossy right away."
If your bread has gone stale, this top tip will have it refreshed in no time.
