This little theme park sounds like a must for roller coaster fans.

The Milky Way Adventure Park in Clovelly, North Devon, is running rings around the likes of Disneyland Paris and Alton Towers, according to TripAdvisor’s annual Traveller’s Choice Theme Park and Water Park Awards.

They’ve just come out with their list of the top 20 theme and water parks across the world, and while locations in Spain, France and Brazil topped the list, The Milky Way Adventure Park was the highest charting UK location at number five.

Alton Towers landed at number 13, Blackpool Pleasure Beach at 14 and Drayton Manor Theme Park at 17.

Milky Way beat the likes of Dollywood, Universal Islands of Adventure in Florida, and even Disneyland Paris for the number five slot.

The chart is decided by TripAdvisor reviews over the last year, and it seems the family-owned attraction is the most popular here in the UK.

Milky Way Adventure Park started as a daily farm, but now boasts rides such as Cosmic Typhoon, Cyber Scooter and Ziggy’s Blast Quest.

On TripAdvisor, the Devon holiday highlight is number one on the list of things to do in Clovelly, and has a score of 4.5 out of 5.

On the park's incredible popularity, Milky Way manager, Tara Stanbury, told The Sun: “We have guests who return regularly with their children and it’s great to see them growing older and getting excited about being able to finally ride the bigger coasters – for some of them it’s the highlight of their year.

If you want to experience more adrenaline outside of the country, there’s a 460ft swing ride in Dubai that beats any local fun fair!
