The McDonald’s breakfast bus is back and here is where it is stopping

McDonald’s are handing out free McMuffins and Coke Zeros to students when their breakfast bus stops off at 10 cities and towns across the country.

Starting today (11th October) until 21st October, the McDonald’s breakfast bus will be making its way around 10 different universities in the UK.

Not only will students have the chance of bagging some free snacks, but one lucky person will be in with the chance of winning an exclusive set from BBC Radio 1 DJ Chris Stark on the bus.

The bus will be stopping off at Universities up and down the country, and you can see a full list below:

October 10 – Edinburgh Napier University

October 11 – University of Northumbria

October 12– Sheffield University

October 13 – University of Leeds

October 14– York University

October 17 – Nottingham Trent University

October 18 – Birmingham City University

October 19 – Cardiff Met University

October 20 – Bristol UWE University

October 21 – Portsmouth University

Students will have the chance of visiting the bus when it parks up at their campuses between 11am and 4pm with only 2,000 free McMuffins to hand out.

There will be a choice of egg and cheese, bacon and egg and cheese flavours up for grabs and the first 100 people who attend each location will get free McDonald’s merch.

This comes after the fast-food chain announced it would be launching Happy Meals for adults, complete with a free toy, in the US stores last week (3rd October).

The adult-sized Happy Meals include either a Big Mac or 10-piece Chicken McNuggets as well as fries and a drink. As for the toy, McDonald’s rolled out four collectible figurines of its famous mascots, Grimace, the Hamburglar, Birdie and Cactus Buddy.

It’s not clear whether McDonald’s will roll this out to the rest of world, but fingers crossed!
