McVitie’s has announced the Caramel Digestives will be back along with the new Coconut Macaroon flavour Hobnobs, just in time to dunk into your tea during the winter months.

The Caramel Digestives first hit shelves back in 1999 and quickly became a firm favourite among biscuit lovers, which made it all the more disappointing when they were made unavailable three years ago.

Now, due to popular demand, they are back along with the launch of the new Hobnobs Coconut Macaroon.

Speaking about the sweet treats, MicVitie’s Marketing Director, Simon Worne, said: "We’re very excited to introduce another brand-new flavour to the Hobnobs family, as well as bringing back a fan favourite with the relaunch of Caramel Digestives. We’re always looking to offer tasty variations of the classics for biscuit lovers to enjoy, and these two are no exception."

The Hobnobs Coconut Macroon will be available in supermarkets including Sainsbury’s, Co-Ip and Waitrose at the end of November for £1.75 per pack.

However, we won’t have to wait too long to get our hands on the Caramel Digestives as they will hit shelves in Asda, Tesco, Sainsbury’s, Morrisons, Iceland, Co-Op and Waitrose from the end of October priced at £1.79 per pack.

In other news, Mars has announced it will be launching a whole new range of frozen desserts next month with Twix, Galaxy and Snickers flavoured treats.

The new desserts are set to appear in Iceland and Food Warehouse in November as part of the stores’ new festive range and just in time for the party season.

Up for grabs will be a Twix chocolate caramel tart and a Galaxy caramel chocolate wreath. There will also be Mars and Snickers frozen dessert bar with a brownie base and chocolate mousse and a Galaxy classic Yule Log covered in the chocolate.
