Heinz to bring back their Christmas Dinner Big Soup and introduce a vegan alternative

Craving that Christmas dinner but want none of the hassle? Heinz are here to help with their famous Christmas Dinner Big Soup.

Back by popular demand, you can get your turkey-and-trimmings fix with a warming, hearty soup filled with all the festive goodness and none of the faff. 

Not only that, but Heinz has heard the cries from the non-meat-eater fans and finally, there is now an accompanying vegan version too, to make sure no one goes hungry. 

After selling out last year, Heinz have taken the hint and made 20,000 available in selected Asda supermarkets across the country, and will be available to buy from 24th November, but they are limited, meaning once they're gone, they’re gone! 

The Christmas Dinner Big Soup includes a Crimbo-inspired mix of turkey breast, stuffing balls and even pigs in blankets while the plant-based alternative is packed full of veggies, vegan sausage and stuffing balls.

Bahar Kiransa, Marketing Manager and Heinz Soups, said: “After last year’s reaction to Heinz Christmas Dinner Big Soup, bringing it back again this year was a no brainer.  So, we are so excited to relaunch our sensational seasonal addition to Heinz’s Big Soup family, and this time on a much larger scale, with a vegan version, too.

“We’ve been hard at work all year perfecting our recipes for both the meat and vegan versions. We are particularly proud to be introducing the vegan version this year, as everyone deserves to be able to try the delicious flavours of our much-loved Heinz Christmas Dinner Soup.”

If you’re much more of a pizza person (and not yet in the festive spirit), then Heinz recently announced the return of their Heinz Beanz Pizza after a near 20-year absence. 

Heinz’s Baked Bean Pizza was popular with shoppers throughout the 1990s, but it was taken off shelves in 2003. Now though, it’s back with the name Heinz Beanz Pizza.

The pizza is described as having a “light and crispy base with tasty tomato sauce, topped with Heinz baked beans, mozzarella and cheddar cheese”.

If the idea of a baked bean pizza floats your boat, then the returning classic will be available from Iceland stores from the end of this month. 

Sharing the news on Instagram, Heinz wrote: “You asked, and we have delivered. The classic 90’s BEANZ PIZZA IS BACK to join the rest of our fab frozen range including our Beanz Burgerz, Beanz Bowlz ready meals and Hash Browns. Who’s excited? Available in @IcelandFoods from the end of November.”
