Cadbury has launched a new easter egg with an extra thick chocolate shell, and it looks incredible.

It’s that time of year when all the Christmas chocolate gets cleared off the shelves and replaced with Easter eggs, so we have plenty of time to choose the one we want before April rolls around.

We are spoiled for choice when it comes to Easter eggs, but Cadbury might have made our decision for us this year after announcing the release of a giant easter egg with a ‘chunky’ shell.

The Cadbury Dairy Milk Chunky Egg is made up of an incredible 515g of chocolate to create an extra thick shell, compared to the classic Cadbury Dairy Milk Chocolate Easter Egg, which uses just 286g.

Of course, the new treat will come with two Dairy Milk chocolate bars, in case the giant egg doesn’t fill you up.

That’s not all, Cadbury has also announced a brand-new Oreo White Egg. Made from smooth white chocolate and crunchy Oreo pieces, this new Easter treat will satisfy all your milk and cookie cravings.

Both eggs will set you back £12 when they hit shelves, so keep your eyes peeled in all big shops.

In time for Easter, Cadbury will also be bringing back their small eggs with treats inside. The Cadbury Mini Easter eggs will contain their small Cadbury Dairy Milk Buttons, White Buttons, Freddo Faces, Caramel Nibbles or Giant Buttons, depending on which one you buy. They will be on sale for just £2.50.

Laura Gray, senior brand manager for Cadbury Easter, said: “Our new treat filled shell-eggs will certainly bring back that feeling of nostalgia and magic for the consumers, now that they can crack them open to reveal and enjoy all of the delicious chocolates stored inside.”

We don’t know about you, but we cannot wait for Easter!
