Princess Eugenie pregnant shares she's pregnant with her second child

Princess Eugenie has shared that she is pregnant with her second child due later this summer.

She announced the news with a picture of her young son kissing her bump.

Princess Eugenie and husband Jack Brooksbank have a son called August, who is nearly two.

A statement was shared confirming their happy news.

Buckingham Palace said in a statement: "Princess Eugenie and Mr Jack Brooksbank are pleased to announce they are expecting their second child this summer.

"The family are delighted and August is very much looking forward to being a big brother."

Jack took the photograph, showing Eugenie dressed in a woolly hat and smiling as August hugs her.

Eugenie wrote: "We're so excited to share that there will be a new addition to our family this summer."

The new baby will be 13th in line to the throne.

The new arrival be the third grandchild for Eugenie's parents Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson.

Sarah wrote: "You will be sharing puddles, Augie ! Superb news, Granny heaven…. So deeply grateful."

Eugenie's first born is called August Philip Hawke Brooksbank and was born on February 9, 2021.

Eugenie said: "We named August, August Philip because grandpa has been such a huge, inspiring character in my life.

"I brought little August to come and meet him and told him that we had named him after him and it was such a lovely moment.

"We were very lucky to do that."
