When Tom Odell visited Virgin Radio to play a live session, he delivered his own take on a classic from The Boss.
To celebrate his sixth studio album, Black Friday, coming out today (26th January), the singer-songwriter joined the Chris Evans Breakfast Show with cinch to play a live set from the top of the tower.
As well as performing some of his own tunes, the artist offered a wonderful rendition of Bruce Springsteen’s Dancing in the Dark.
Originally released in 1984, the song is one of Bruce Springsteen’s biggest hits across the globe, and is listed among the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame's 500 Songs that Shaped Rock and Roll.

Speaking about Springsteen, Tom said: "I think he's probably the best, isn't it? I saw him last summer… and just felt happy for, like, three weeks afterwards."
Black Friday is out today, and Tom and his band are heading out on a UK and European tour in March and April. Tom also recently announced three massive headline dates over the summer, in Dublin, Halifax and London.
