Fans react to Taylor Swift RAINWATER from Massachusetts gig selling for hundreds

Rain merch, anyone? One Taylor Swift fan has come up with an ingenious way of raking in some cash. The singer performed a three-hour long performance in Massachusetts at the Gillette Stadium and one keen audience member collected rainwater and is now listing it online for $250 — that's £201.

Account Only In Boston displayed the fan's potty memorabilia post described as: "Taylor Swift Eras tour merch rain."

One social media user asked: "Parking lot or stadium rain?"

Another wrote: "I’m dead."

A third added: "Jealous I didn’t come up with this scam first."

Others commented: "I was there. And I’m dying at this. It was pretty epic."

"Whole time it’s toilet water," joked one user.

Another said: "I could squeeze more out of my clothes."

Taylor herself thanked fans for sticking with her throughout the epic downpour.

She wrote on Twitter: "Last night we all danced together in the rain for THE ENTIRE 3.5 HOUR SHOW in foxy Foxborough MA!!

"We’ve had rain shows at Gillette Stadium before but this was a full on deluge that never let up, I just want to thank that iconic crowd!! Love you so much you have no idea."
