Spice Girls singer Mel B has shared that ‘all five’ members of the band are back on board for a new project - meaning Victoria Beckham is back in the fold for the mysterious announcement.

The details surrounding the news are still pretty vague, but Scary Spice revealed to The Sun that fans can expect a very exciting update from every member of the iconic pop band.

The last time the Spice Girls performed for fans was during their 2019 stadium tour, but without Posh Spice Victoria. This reunion news could mean fans will be able to see all five members reunite for the first time in 11 years following on from their 2012 London Olympics closing ceremony performance.

Mel B explained: “My theory is that if I say it enough, it will happen. But actually we are planning on releasing a statement.”

While Mel stayed schtum about the content of that statement, Mel said she can’t say what the news is because “we’re just finishing off perfecting what we’re going to be doing together, all five of us, but it’s going to be something that fans are really going to love.”

While Victoria’s absence in the band fuelled rumours of rift in the group, Mel insisted that the five women are all still very close.

“It’s not like none of us are speaking together,” she continued. “We've all got a group WhatsApp, but it's just about timing.

“[Victoria] was really busy doing her fashion line and supporting David with his moves and his career and obviously she's got a bunch of kids so it's just about finding the right time. And we've managed to do that so there should be an announcement pretty soon.”

Most recently, Sporty Spice Mel C quashed rumours that the band will be back all together again for Glastonbury.

Fans had been excited about the possibility of the much-loved pop group busting out their array of massive hits on the Pyramid Stage when the festival returns next month, but Mel C sadly rejected any ideas of spicing up your life at Worthy Farm this year.

In a interview with The Guardian, she said: “It's the question I hate the most, because the answer is as disappointing to me as it is to Spice Girls fans," she stated. "We would love to do Glasto. It just doesn't fit with the current plan with the girls.”

However, Melanie did add: “We do want to get back on stage - everything is up in the air.”
