The Boss played a show in Edinburgh this week, and one fan wanted their four-legged friend to experience it.

During Bruce Springsteen’s classic track, Born to Run, a crowd member was spotted FaceTiming their dog. Clearly the pooch was Born to Run!

Twitter user George Shaw, who attended the concert at Murrayfield Stadium, posted a photo of the somewhat unusual call taking place. The picture shows the music legend onstage, with an image of him on the big screen behind him. In the foreground of the picture, fans can be seen holding their phones aloft to capture the magic, and the pet can be clearly seen on one of the screens.

The Twitter user originally posted the pic with the caption, “Woof Springsteen, before later adding: “For some context, a massive shout out to the woman who FaceTimed her dog throughout the performance of Born To Run last night. An icon.”

The comments section was filled with wordplay, such as “Springersteen” and “Dancing in the Bark”. Someone else suggested: “Barkness on the Edge of Town.”

The Boss was also recently in Ireland, to play at Dublin’s RDS Arena, and while there he visited various areas in the Kildare area, which is where his great-great-grandmother was from.

He popped into a local pub, The Burrow in Rathangan, for a singalong with punters of his 1984 track, My Hometown.

The legendary artist is in the midst of his tour with the E Street Band. He is set to play Birmingham’s Villa Park, home of Aston Villa, on 16th June, and will then perform at BST Hyde Park in London on 6th and 8th July.
