Singer Robbie Williams had to press pause on his latest concert midway through after becoming too tired to continue.

The former Take That star was performing during the Pinkpop music festival in the Netherlands on Saturday (17th June) but had to take a breather a few songs in, according to MailOnline

In fan-footage from the event, Robbie was singing his track, Monsoon, but had to tell his band to stop while taking a second to catch his breath.

The Millennium hit-maker instructed his crew to pause before telling the audience: “I’m f****d” before he explained that he’d been suffering from Long Covid.

Robbie shared: “It's Long Covid, I've got Long Covid. It's not my f*****g age, you f*****s.”

Taking it all in his stride, the chart-topper then rose back onto his feet to kick off the song again, and found a second wind to sing 16 more tracks, including Kids and Angels.

According to reports, Robbie has suffered with coronavirus twice, once in April 2020 and then again in January 2021.

During the second bout, Robbie was on holiday with wife Ayda Field and their family in the Caribbean, and had to self-isolate after the diagnosis.

A source told The Sun at the time: “Robbie’s been fairly sick. He’s confined to the villa where he is staying with his family. It’s not exactly the worst place in the world to be quarantined, although he cannot go to the beach. He will have to remain in quarantine for up to 14 days.”

Meanwhile, Robbie is out on the road celebrating 25 years in showbiz with his XXV tour, next stepping out in Norway, Croatia and Greece.

The Rock DJ singer is currently working on his 15th studio album, and recently opened up about the meaning behind one of the tracks from XXV, called Comments Section

Speaking in the Daily Star newspaper's wired column, he explained: "I don't read the comments anymore. It took me a while to wean off them, but I'm out.

"Occasionally, I get stung. I just get reminded every now and again that it's a place that I shouldn't go and visit."

Earlier this year, Robbie teased he had two new albums coming out in 2023, following on from his 10th compilation album, XXV, which he released in September last year.

Speaking about his plans for this year, he said: “I have got two albums coming out pretty soon. I have a vault of new Lufthaus stuff. I could do three albums of it as Robbie Williams but new stuff gets written and you get excited about that. I want to put an album out before the summer.”
