This weekend, thousands of music fans will be descending on a field in Suffolk, and Virgin Radio will be there with them!

Yes, Latitude Festival takes place at Henham Park from Friday 21st to Sunday 23rd July, and our very own Jayne Middlemiss will be there all weekend long, bringing you special shows from the site.

With Virgin Radio being a broadcast partner of the festival, Jayne will be giving you the full festival experience on your radio, plus chatting to a bunch of the artists backstage across the weekend.

But who is playing?

Well, perhaps the biggest news is that newly reformed indie heroes Pulp will be bringing a set of absolute belters to the festival. They are headlining the Friday night, and festival-goers will be sure to hear hits from their iconic albums, Different Class and His ‘n’ Hers.

Saturday night sees acclaimed Scottish singer-songwriter and musician Paulo Nutini top the bill, while the awesome George Ezra will close the festival on Sunday.

Elsewhere, legendary band James will play an extra special orchestral performance on Saturday, while the main stage on Saturday also features The Kooks, Paul Heaton, and Lightning Seeds.

Sunday’s main stage will see performances from The Proclaimers and Kitchen Disco star Sophie Ellis-Bextor, while The Bootleg Beatles will be sure to get the singalongs going with their renditions of Fab Four classics. Another notable performer on Sunday is Siouxsie, of Siouxsie and the Banshees fame.

Metronomy take to the stage on Friday, as do Aussie dance act, Confidence Man.

And it’s not just music at the festival; there is a cool comedy line-up too, with the likes of Taskmaster stars Ed Gamble, Sara Pascoe, Romesh Ranganathan, Fern Brady, Kerry Godliman and more.

Tim Burgess from The Charlatans features in conversation with James Acaster, while Charlie Mackesy will also appear on the Literary, Podcasts and Conversations stage.

The festival also features dance, poetry, theatre, food, family activities and wellness.

Ahead of the festival, Jayne Middlemiss shares a Latitude 2023 Preview in which she recalls some of last year's festivities and looks ahead to some of the acts she's excited to see this year.

You'll hear music and interviews from the likes of Snow Patrol, James, Kelly Jones and much much more. Have a listen here

Check out Virgin Radio at Latitude on Friday between 1pm and 4pm, Saturday between 12.30pm and 4pm, and be sure to listen in to the Sunday Special from 7pm.
