Madonna has shared her thanks with fans for supporting her.

The superstar was hospitalised last month, and had to postpone her world tour dates.

Madonna has now shared a tribute on Instagram to her followers.

"A single rose can be my garden. A single friend my world. Thank You," she captioned the post.

She posted a picture of her hugging a bouquet of flowers with the caption.

On her Story she also posted a photo with a cuddly toy.

This isn't the first post the star has shared either.

She broke her silence to reassure fans earlier this month.

Madonna wrote:  “Thank you for your positive energy, prayers and words of healing and encouragement. I felt your love. I’m on the road to recovery and incredibly grateful for all the blessings in my life.

“My first thought when I woke up in the hospital was my children. My second thought was that I did not want to disappoint anyone who bought tickets for my tour. I also didn’t want to let down the people who worked tirelessly with me over the last few months to create my show. I hate to disappoint anyone.

“My focus now is my health and getting stronger and I assure you, I’ll be back with you as soon as I can.”

"The current plan is to reschedule the North American leg of the tour and to begin in October in Europe. I couldn’t be more grateful for your care and support.”

Fans rushed to the comments to share their support: "We love u! We're so blessed to have you in this world." Another added, "Very happy to see you're taking care of yourself first."

Madonna was hospitalised with a "serious bacterial infection" on 24 June and has been recovering at home.
