Country music icon Shania Twain has put her desire to collaborate with Adele out into the universe.
The You’re Still The One hitmaker made Adele “self-combust” after sneakily attending the Hello singer’s Las Vegas residency in November.
It seems Shania is keen to keep bumping into Adele as she confessed to The Sun that she’s more than up for teaming up with the Grammy winner.
The iconic artist explained: “I would love to sing with her. I think we would blend beautifully together. Obviously, that would be amazing. She’s a great singer and has her own style that is unique.
“She’s a character on stage, too. She’s a fabulous performer. She’s so funny. I like her a lot.”
It turns out the famous pair also met at the Grammy Awards recently, and the two got to chatting while at the star-studded annual event.
If Adele were to join the illustrious list of Shania collaborators, she’d be alongside the likes of Lionel Richie, Michael Buble and Anne-Marie.
Shania is currently on her Queen of Me tour, which will land in Glasgow on Thursday (14th September) before two nights at London’s The O2.
Her latest album, also titled Queen of Me, was released in February, and according to the Giddy Up! star, she’s got at least two more records worth of music to come.
She added: “I’ve got so much music that I wrote over the lockdown periods because I was, out of sheer boredom, needing an outlet for my creativity. I wrote a ton of stuff. I’ve got enough to make at least two albums right now.
“That’s been building up and I plan on making a new record as soon as I can.”
Speaking of new lyrics, Shania recently confessed she swapped out Brad Pitt’s name in her massive hit That Don’t Impress Me Much.
Shania originally sang in the lyrics that she wasn't impressed by a car, being a rocket scientist, or being Brad Pitt, but the song has received an update for 2023.
Speaking to the Radio Times, Twain revealed she now performs the lyrics with Channing Tatum's name. She said: “I’m trying to think how I would sing that."
She then sang the lyric “’Ok, so you’re Channing Tatum.’ Yeah, that works,” she decided.
