Adele fans should be very excited, as the star is apparently planning to come back to the UK for some surprise shows.

She has been busy performing her 'Weekends With Adele' residency in Las Vegas over the past year.

Fans have been patiently waiting for Adele to announce some UK dates, and after she shared the news her Vegas residency had been extended, they feared it wouldn't happen.

She hasn't performed in the UK since playing London's Hyde Park in 2022.

Adele's agent Lucy Dickins has dropped some hints that live performances could be around the corner.

She did stress that new music is unlikely at the moment.

Lucy told the Daily Star newspaper when asked if she was hopeful of UK dates: “I am, I am. I don’t think there will be any new music imminently, put it that way, but watch this space. Let’s see what happens.”

She said: “She’s not gonna do what everyone else does.

“Everything about her is live and her voice, that’s why the (Vegas) show was delayed because everything had to be perfect for her and it’s purely voice when you see the show.

“She wouldn’t do anything unless she was giving it 100% and about her pure voice. Adele doesn’t traditionally do what everyone else does, you have to think outside the box.”

She said she has seen the Vegas show "so many times" but has "never got bored".

She said: “I’ve seen that show so many times and I could watch it night after night, it’s the one show I’ve never got bored of.

She said: “I still cry and laugh, it brings out every emotion possible, it’s amazing how it makes you feel. It gives me goose pimples talking about it.”

Adele is now taking a "well-deserved" break before returning for the extended dates in 2024.

Lucy “Adele just finished last night. It’s well deserved, she works her a*** off but she starts again next year.

“She’s an incredible mother and works so hard, she deserves it.”
