Bon Jovi have announced a brand new song for Christmas 2023.

Taking to Instagram, the band revealed: “We’ve got an early Christmas present for you!”

‘Christmas Isn’t Christmas’ will be released this Friday (17th November). The band wished their fans “Happy Holidays!” as they revealed the news.

The single marks the band’s return to releasing music ahead of their 40th anniversary celebrations next year. It is their first new music to be released since their album 2020, which was released in - you’ve guessed it - 2020!

The original festive track was recorded in a church in Nashville, where the band also paid a visit to Santa’s Pub while recording the song.

Hinting at what celebrations the band may have for the new year and their 40th anniversary, Richie Sambora, one of the group’s founding members, recently suggested a reunion tour may be on the cards.

“There’s talking,” he told People, adding: “There's a documentary that's being done about the band and stuff that I've participated in, and people want to come see us play, and it's going to make everybody happy. I mean, essentially, that's why you do it at this point.”

Famous frontman Jon Bon Jovi was recently revealed to be the next person to be honoured with the title of Grammy charity MusiCares’ Person of the Year 2024.

Speaking about the honour, the ‘It’s My Life’ singer said he was “truly humbled” to have been named as 2024’s Person of the Year by the charity.

“MusiCares’ work with music professionals is vitally important in creating much needed support and wellness programs that cultivate a healthier and more vibrant community for us all,” he added.

Bon Jovi’s new Christmas track ‘Christmas Isn’t Christmas’ will be released on Friday, 17th October.
