Two weeks later than originally expected, tickets for next year’s Glastonbury go on sale today (16th November).

Tickets for Glasto 2024 were due to be available from Thursday 2nd November but, just hours before coach tickets were supposed to be put on sale, an announcement was made that things were going to be pushed back two weeks in order “to ensure that everyone who would like to buy a ticket is registered and therefore eligible to purchase one.”

There had been technical difficulties regarding some people’s registration. “Unfortunately, it has come to light that some individuals hoping to buy tickets for 2024 have discovered after Monday’s registration deadline that they are no longer registered, despite believing they were,” a statement on the Glastonbury website said.

Well those two weeks have now passed, meaning that tickets plus coach travel will now go on sale at 6pm tonight (Thursday 16th November), and then general admission tickets will go on sale at 9am on Sunday 19th November.

Tickets will cost £355 + £5 booking fee, of which a £75 deposit (plus coach fare if booking a ticket + coach travel option) is payable when booking. The balance is then payable in the first week of April 2024.

To be in with a chance of getting a ticket, you will have needed to have registered by Monday (13th November). If you didn’t register or ensure your existing registration is up to date, then it looks like you will be watching Glasto on the telly next year.

If you are all registered, then we wish you good luck in your attempt to secure tickets, as last year approximately 2.5 million people tried to book, which obviously means there were a whole lot of very disappointed people.

So, be sure to set your alarm for the sales times, because if you snooze, you very definitely lose.

If you are planning on trying for tickets with coach travel tonight, then be aware that you HAVE to take the coach that you select, and you will only receive your Glasto ticket once you are on that coach. So you can’t just book your ticket and then bin the coach off to make your own way there.

Oh, and if you miss out on tickets this time round then there will be another opportunity to get tickets for Worthy Farm, during the resale dates in April 2024.

Good luck in the crazy scramble for tickets!
