Ahead of the release of their new compilation album, The Killers have announced a tour for summer 2024.

The run of shows will see the band celebrate the band’s 20 years of belters in arenas across the UK and Ireland. In June, they will play two nights in Dublin and Glasgow, and three nights in Manchester and a hattrick of shows at London’s O2 in July.

Taking to X (formerly Twitter) to announce the tour, the band explained why their tour will begin on these shores, saying: “It's only right that we give first dibs to the land that gave us our first big shot at doing what we do! Thank you and without further ado, here we go…”

Tickets go on general sale at 9.30am Friday 8th December. This is the same date that their new greatest hits compilation album, called Rebel Diamonds, comes out. The record will feature new song Spirit as one of 20-tracks on the LP. It will also feature classics such as Mr. Brightside, When You Were Young, All These Things That I’ve Done and Human.

Rebel Diamonds - released in December - features at least one song from all of the band’s seven studio albums, all the way from their seminal debut Hot Fuss, up to their latest full-length LP, 2021’s Pressure Machine.

The new tour represents the first Killers arena shows in the UK since 2017’s Wonderful Wonderful tour, and follow the band’s most recent stadium tour, which saw them play to 400,000 fans at sold-out shows, including two nights at London’s Emirates Stadium in June 2022. They also played headline sets at Reading & Leeds Festivals.
