This time, he's brought some serious star power to the Pinkpop Festival.

It all started with a backstage video that Ed shared on his Instagram Story, giving fans a sneak peek into the magic happening behind the scenes.

Ed, who is known for his chart-topping hits and acoustic ballads, has been mixing things up and showing off his versatility. And boy, did he deliver!

First up, Ed teamed up with his good pal Hozier, the Irish crooner famous for his soulful tunes and poetic lyrics.

The duo took to the stage to perform Hozier's Work Song, a gospel-blues gem from his 2014 debut album.

The Irish Times hailed the track as 'mental-good,' solidifying Hozier's place in the music scene as a standout artist.

Despite knowing each other for 11 years, this was the first time Ed and Hozier performed together, and it was nothing short of magical.

Ed gushed on Instagram: "I’m such a fan, thanks so much for having me up for one of my favourite songs of yours! You and your band are incredible."

Fans were equally ecstatic, flooding social media with praise for the unexpected yet perfect pairing.

"We need this duet as a single!!!" one fan exclaimed, while another added: "So much emotion and complexity in your duet."

Clearly, this collaboration struck a chord with audiences far and wide.

But Ed wasn't done with his Pinkpop escapades just yet. In a move that surprised everyone, he made an unplanned appearance during Limp Bizkit's set.

Yes, you read that right—Ed Sheeran and Limp Bizkit on the same stage!

Ed joined forces with Fred Durst and the gang for a rendition of The Who's Behind Blue Eyes, which Limp Bizkit famously covered on their 2003 album, Results May Vary.

Fred Durst couldn't contain his excitement, sharing a photo of the live collaboration and a backstage selfie with Ed on Instagram.

He captioned it: "Fred Sheeran doing the Blue Eyes thing."

Ed, equally thrilled, mentioned on his Instagram Story that the impromptu performance was a blast.

Fans couldn't believe their eyes and ears, witnessing Ed's seamless transition from soulful ballads to hard-hitting rock.

It’s not every day you see the Shape of You singer jamming out with one of the most iconic nu-metal bands of the early 2000s.

The Pinkpop Festival was a whirlwind of genres and emotions, with Ed Sheeran proving once again that he's not just a one-trick pony.

From serenading the crowd with Hozier to rocking out with Limp Bizkit, Ed showed that he's got the chops to hang with the best in the business, no matter the genre.
