Their upcoming 10th studio album is set for release on 4th October, and the band has already shared the lead single, feelslikeimfallinginlove, which left fans eager to hear more.

Last week, the band also confirmed the tracklist for the album and teased another track, Good Feelings, playing a snippet of the single on stage in Rome.

Now, they have released We Pray, which also features a number of other artists, including Burna Boy, Little Simz, Elyanna and Tini.

If you think you’ve heard this before, it’s probably because Coldplay performed the track with Simz and Elyanna during their headline set on the Pyramid stage at Glastonbury this year. The band then ended the festival with their new lead single, feelslikeimfallinginlove.

It’s set to be a busy year for the band with the release of Moon Music and rumours they will be putting on a 10-night residency at Wembley Stadium to promote the new album.

According to reports, Coldplay is looking to veer away from a traditional tour and do something a bit different by setting up camp in Wembley for a string of shows.

The idea is they can play to millions of fans but keep their carbon footprint down at the same time.

This certainly tracks with their last tour, Music of Spheres, which saw a whopping 59% reduction in carbon emissions compared to their 2016/17 tour.

With their new album, Coldplay is going a step further, with each vinyl of Moon Music being pressed on discs made from plastic bottles. This, along with a Wembley residency, means the band will reduce their carbon emissions by 85% and eliminate the need for 25 tonnes of virgin plastic.

Moon Music will be released on 4th October 2024.
