Rock 'n' roller Liam Gallagher could be mellowing with age - or maybe that's just with his kids. The iconic musician won't be getting in the way if his sons Lennon and Gene have scraps like him and brother Noel. The Oasis frontman shared his words of parenting wisdom and warned his mini-me Lennon Gallagher to 'beware of massive *****' in the music industry.

Son Lennon who he shares with ex-wife Patsy Kensit is set to release music with his own acoustic band Automotion.

The Wonderwall singer said he'll back off when it comes to meddling if his offspring Lennon and brother Gene - whose mother is Liam's second wife Nicole Appleton - argue.

Asked by a fan on Twitter what advice he would give to Lennon, he said: "Have fun, keep it surreal, beware of massive *****."

Another fan said about keeping the sons apart so there was history didn't repeat itself, he answered: "I’m staying out of it. They're both doing their own thing which is fair enough."

A friend told The Sun newspaper about his son's music: "Lennon has that rock god stage presence and has learned the art of performance from his dad.

"Liam is super proud and has listened to his songs - he's always around to offer advice."

He previously said: "I grew up with my mum being an actress. Also my dad is a musician.

"I just like being in front of the camera - as cheesy as that sounds."
