Elton John had the 'ultimate Zoom' with Damon Albarn, Dua Lipa and more

We've all spent a lot of time on Zoom over the last 18 months, but imagine sharing it with A-List celebs.

Elton John hosted the "ultimate Zoom" with many famous faces taking part.

The star decided to bring together 23 of the collaborators who appear on his latest album, ‘The Lockdown Sessions’,

Is this the most famous Zoom call ever? You definitely wouldn't be looking at yourself, would you?

Participants include Miley Cyrus, Lil Nas X, Charlie Puth, Stevie Nicks, Stevie Wonder, Damon Albarn and Pearl Jam's Eddie Vedder.

It's a veritable selection box of celebs.

Stevie Wonder said: “If there’s anything that’s going to make a difference in the world, connected with love, it’s music,”

“We do it from our hearts, we do it from our experiences, and we share those emotions with you, the people.”

Of course, there couldn't be Elton John without his Christmas collaborator Ed Sheeran, who also appeared at the end of call.

Elton released 'The Lockdown Sessions' in October, and also a making-of documentary.

He told NME he liked how the album saw him going full circle; "I thought, ‘I’m becoming a session musician again like I was 54 years ago,’” he said, “‘and it feels good.’ I had no restrictions, and I actually loved playing on other people’s records. It was different sorts of music, and music and artists that I loved, so I was in my element. It was like Back To The Future.”

He added: “You have to go in there with no ego when you’re playing on someone else’s record and just give them exactly what they want. But also enjoy the process too.”
