It's a brilliant reimagining of the classic song.

The Guns N' Roses star has been on tour with his other band, The Conspirators.

With Myles Kennedy on vocals, the band are known for performing heavier tracks.

At a concert earlier this week, Slash and the band performed their own take on the iconic Elton John tune, 'Rocket Man'.

He told the audience: “We’re gonna do this song, it’s gonna be the first time we’ve ever played it live,”

“We played it for a movie some years ago. The movie came out during Covid. It was a movie called Stuntman.”

Watch the performance below:

“We did this version of the song for this movie for this friend of mine who jumped over Snake River Canyon,” he added.

The guitarist continued: “We’re going to play it live tonight since we’ve been dying to play it. It’s very different for us, too,” Slash told the crowd.”

It wasn't the only cover the band performed, they also gave a rendition of Lenny Kravitz’s tune ‘Always On The Run’.

Slash co-wrote the music to the 1991 song.

He recently hinted that there may be new Guns N' Roses music coming soon.

It would be the first Guns N’ Roses album to feature Slash and McKagan since the mid-1990s.

Fans are very excited at the prospect.
