Fans are crossing their fingers for more Arctic Monkeys tour dates soon.
The band have been confirmed as one of the headliners for this year’s Electric Picnic festival in Ireland.
Arctic Monkeys will be playing the show on Sunday, September 4, with Tame Impala (September 3rd) and Dermot Kennedy (2nd).
If you want to go, then tickets go on sale here tomorrow (March 11) at 9am GMT.
Joining them on the line-up is Megan Thee Stallion, Wolf Alice, Pixies, Little Simz, Fontaines D.C., London Grammar, Glass Animals, The Kooks, Bright Eyes, Girl In Red and Sleaford Mods.
The news was confirmed in a tweet with the rest of the line-up.
The band are also due to headline Reading & Leeds 2022 in August.
They've also been working on new music after drummer Matt confirmed last year that their seventh album was “pretty much” finished.
Their drummer said last November: “We tend to always move it on a little bit. For us, because we’re so involved in it, it always makes sense.
Matt added that their albums "always kind of pick up where the other one left off in a way. It makes sense when you think about it in the context of the last record. But we always do try and do something a bit different – it’s kind of hard to describe. You can tell it’s the same band.”
Several European headline dates have been confirmed, as well as festivals including Sziget Festival, Cala Mijas, Rock En Seine and more.
