Ed Sheeran's song 'Bad Habits' has now been streamed more than a billion times.
It's the tenth of his songs to reach the incredible milestone.
The star has now thanked his fans for continuing the trend.
Sheeran shared a video on his Facebook page expressing his gratitude.
He said: "Hey guys, 'Bad Habits' has just hit a billion streams on Spotify, which is my 10th song on Spotify to hit a billion streams.
"Thanks so much for streaming all of my songs and liking my songs, it means so much that 'Bad Habits' is this...
"It's not even been a year yet and I am really proud of that song and really happy that you guys like it. Thank you for all the plays. Lots of love."
His previous song, 'Shape of You' became the first song on Spotify to reach three billion streams last year.
He recently released a heavy metal version of 'Bad Habits' as a collaboration with Bring Me The Horizon, after they surprised people at the BRIT Awards with a performance of the track.
They have hinted at the fact they may work together again as well.
As well as BMTH, Sheeran has also teased new music.
So I want to share something with you that I’ve been working on. I met @jbalvin in a gym in New York last year,” Sheeran wrote on Twitter. “It was just me and him very early in the morning. I recognised his voice when he was on the phone so I just went up and said hi. We chatted so long we ended up having lunch and then afternoon tea. Then just went to being mates who chatted non stop.”
“I was in New York at Christmas for shows so we decided to have one day in the studio that led to so so much more, which you’ll find out about soon. But the first two songs we wrote are ‘Sigue’ and ‘Forever My Love’, they are out soon, and I absolutely love them. He wanted to bring me into his world, and I wanted to bring him into mine. Was a proper challenge learning Spanish for this and I had so much fun doing it. Hope you guys love it as much as I do, and look out for more to come.”
