UB40 featuring Ali Campbell are paying tribute to Astro with a new single, called 'We'll Never Find Another Love'.

The single is tribute to the multi-instrumentalist who tragically passed away following "very short illness", in November.

He sadly died just two weeks after the band's new album was mixed.

Called 'Unprecedented', the record is out soon.

Ali Campbell says the song is way of "keeping his memory alive".

He said "Astros death came as such a shock, and I'm still reeling from it.

"This album is now more poignant and special than either of us could have imagined when we were recording it. Astro heartbreakingly passed just two weeks after we'd finished the final mixes, so this is a way of keeping his memory alive."

'Unprecedented' is due for release on June 17.

It's the follow up to 2018's 'A Real Labour Of Love',

There are new tunes alongside cover versions of reggae classics and popular hits.

Fans will be able to hear their own version of East 17's 'Stay Another Day', Kris Kristofferson's 'Sunday Mornin' Comin' Down' and Stevie Wonder's 'Do Yourself A Favour'.

The news of Astros passing was confirmed on the official UB40 Twitter account.

A statement read: "RIP ASTRO

"We have heard tonight, the sad news that ex-member of UB40, Terence Wilson, better know as Astro, has passed away after a short illness.

"Our sincere condolences to his family

"UB40 (sic)"
