Taylor Swift shocked fans when she made a surprise appearance at Bon Iver’s concert in London last night (26th October).

The singer joined the musician, whose real name is Justin Vernon, at the OVO Arena in Wembley on Wednesday night to perform their song Exile together live for the first time.

The song appeared on Swift’s 2020 album Folklore, and fans went wild with footage of the performance quickly making its way to Twitter soon after.

At the end of their duet, Vernon can be heard saying: “The most talented person in the world, Taylor Swift.”

To which she responded: “The most talented person in the world, Justin Vernon.”

Fans of Swift and Bon Iver took to the comments to share their excitement at seeing the song performed live, with one person writing: “Goosebumps throughout. They need to do a proper live performance.”

Another said: “I have NEVER been so jealous of anything in my whole life.”

A third wrote: “Brilliant. Such a treasure to have as a memory.”

After their performance, Vernon joked that her guest appearance would be hard to follow before singing some more fan favourites like Skinny Love and Blood Bank.

This comes as Swift shares her new record Midnights, which has become the biggest-selling record of 2022 even though it was only released on Friday (21st October).

The vinyl sales of her new album have also neared 500,000, making it the biggest-selling week for an album on vinyl since 1991, which was when modern vinyl sales began to be tracked.

Over the weekend, Midnights also broke Spotify’s record for most album streams in one day. On top of this, in the 24 hours after the album was released, Spotify announced that it had already broken the record for the most-streamed album in a single day.
