Hozier releases song for new hit game: God of War Ragnarök

Hozier has dropped a new song and fans have gone bonkers for the new tune, Blood Upon The Snow, written for God Of War: Ragnarök.

The Irish musician has teamed up with composer Bear McCreary for the newest instalment of Sony’s latest PlayStation series. Speaking about the new collaboration, Hozier said he's 'interested in the digital arts as a maturing medium'.

He shared the news with fans on social media and wrote: "Blood Upon The Snow is out now! It was a pleasure bringing this to life with the wonderful @BearMcCreary for #GodofWarRagnarok

"Much love to the God of War fans and the @santamonicastudio family."

Hozier said on not being able to play the game beforehand: “Sadly, I didn’t get a chance — I would have loved to, but didn’t get a chance to sit down and play the game.”

Thrilled fans commented: "Hozier's vocal range is no joke, so happy he got to be part of this magical world!! So deserved. This song needs to go viral."
