Ahead of releasing his new album, Whats Ifs & Maybes, next year, Tom Grennan has talked about what inspired it.

The musician was one of the stars in attendance at ITV’s annual Palooza at London's Royal Festival Hall on Tuesday night (15th November). Talking to and other press on the red carpet, he spoke about his follow-up to 2021’s Evering Road. “It's all about spontaneousness. Is that a word, spontaneousness? It is now,” he said.

“You never know where you're going to be in life, so, if you take risks, and have fun, then that's all that matters. So, that's where it all comes from,” he explained.

When asked if there are any collaborations on the record, the Bedford-born artist said: “This is just a me album.”

Whilst the new record doesn’t have a confirmed release date yet, it is set to land in the spring.

Tom has also announced a tour next March, where he will play his biggest gigs to date. He will visit Birmingham, Cardiff, Leeds, Newcastle, Glasgow, Nottingham, Manchester, Brighton, Plymouth, and London.

Looking ahead to next year, Tom said: “Big tour, and big album hopefully. Fingers crossed.”
