Lewis Capaldi teaches young fan his new song on train station piano in sweet video

Lewis Capaldi has shared the sweet moment he taught a young fan how to play his new song on a train station piano.

The Forget Me singer came across the young girl at Kings Cross Station in London and posted a video of him teaching her his song to TikTok.

In the caption, he wrote: “Went to play my new song in a train station in London but there was already someone there way better than I am so just asked her to play it.”

The singer can be heard chatting to the fan in video, saying: “How are you doing? Very good stuff! You are a very good piano player.”

Elsewhere in the clip, which now has more than 1.8 million views, the girl can then be seen practicing the song as Lewis sings along with her and passersby cheer her along. Lewis gives her a high five after she finishes, and fans took to the comments to gush about how sweet he was.

One person said: “The way she watched so intently and did so well, she has a bright future with the piano.”

Another wrote: “She will never forget been taught piano by you! Thank you for being you and so selfless, Lewis.”

A third commented: “What a beautiful moment! Thank you for sharing.”

Last month, Capaldi announced he would be releasing his second album, Broken By Desire To Be Heavenly Sent, on 19th May 2023. The singer also confirmed a huge world tour would be following it.

In a video announcing the news, he said: "So that's it, my brand new album Broken By Desire To Be Heavenly Sent is coming out in May next year.

“We've got a tour going everywhere - UK, Europe, America, Australia, there'll be more to come, I'm very sure of it."
