Abbey Clancy visited Virgin Radio to talk all about her new podcast and the guests that she interviews each week.

Already the co-host of the massively-popular The Therapy Crouch alongside husband Peter Crouch, the model and TV personality  launched ‘Exhibit A with Abbey Clancy’ in April.

Joining the Chris Evans Breakfast Show with webuyanycar, she said: “It's so funny, like, when you are looking into people, you're like, ‘God, I didn't know they were born there. I didn't know that happened to them.’ And some tragic things happen to people, and they still end up at the top of their game and super successful. And it's inspiring.”

Regarding how the guests might inspire listeners, and indeed herself, to try new things, she added: “I feel like you come to a point in your life where you're like, ‘I just want to do something else.’”

Abbey continued: “And the people I've had on are people I want to know about. How did they do that? How did they manage to bring this product out? Or how did they become a Hollywood actor? It's inspiring for, I think, for people who are at home thinking, ‘What can I do next?’”

Guests so far have included none other than Elizabeth Hurley. “She's so like me. I was like, you have literally got the same life as me,” Abbey said.

“She's so family. She doesn't like to leave the house. She loves her animals. But you know, when you’re sitting in front of an icon like Elizabeth, you're kind of scared to kind of dig deep, you know, I wanted to push it a little bit more.”

Another guest has been Mo Gawdat, “He was like the CEO of Google X, or he ran Google X,” the Strictly winner said. “He's like a megamind, super, super powerful entrepreneur. And he tragically lost his son in a routine operation. And he completely changed his life around and his mindset. And you know, most people, if they lose a child, you'd never get over that. And he is just remarkable, kind, full of wisdom, and just listening to him talk was just so therapeutic. And he's so clever.”

Last week, Freya Aspinall was on the pod. “She's just a lovely girl. And obviously she's been bought, born into this family where they've kept these wild animals, and she is on a mission to rewild them,” the Exhibit A host said.

The podcast features some quick-fire questions, some of which Chris asked Abbey. “Are you an early bird or a night owl?” he enquired.

“I'm an early bird,” she replied. “We go to bed so early. We put the kids to bed. I'll have a cup of tea, my bickies, if I'm not having a glass of wine. And then we're in bed.”

Next, Chris asked: “What does happiness mean to you?”

Abbey responded: “Happiness to me is everyone else being happy. My family being happy and healthy. I know it sounds cheesy, but that's when I am happiest.”

And on how she defines success? “I define success by having no regrets and being happy. That's the ultimate success, isn't it? Being happy. You don't have to be a gazillionaire or the CEO to be happy.”
