Stacey Solomon joined the Chris Evans Breakfast Show with Sky this morning to talk about getting Mrs Hinch on Sort Your Life Out, her new book and upcoming BBC craft show.

On Sunday (11th December), Stacey revealed she had teamed up with the queen of clean Mrs Hinch to film the last episode in the second series of Sort Your Life Out.

The BBC show was a huge hit when it aired in 2021 and saw Solomon and her team transform the lives of different families by organising their space. In the second series, she will be returning to help another six families by getting rid of their clutter and giving them some handy tips and hacks when it comes to sorting out their stuff.

Speaking to Chris, Stacey revealed how excited she was to finally get Mrs Hinch involved in the show.

She said: “I’ve been asking and asking and trying to get her on Sort Your Life Out for so long. And I finally managed to convince her, so she’s doing an episode with us and she’s so brilliant and funny and smart. Honestly, I love her to pieces.”

Joking about their shared interest in organisation and cleaning, Stacey added: “When we get together, we are the saddest people on Earth.”

As well as a new series of Sort Your Life Out in the works, Stacey has a new Christmas special for the BBC out this week.

Stacey Solomon’s Crafty Christmas will show her transforming a barn next to Pickle Cottage into a grotto to host a party for some local community heroes. She will also be making lots of Christmas decorations from scratch, like a wreath made from a coat hanger and some personalised Christmas crackers.

Speaking about the new show, she said: “I'll be really honest with you, when the BBC said that I could do this show, I genuinely thought it was a joke. I was like ‘oh my god he's someone really going to commission me doing craft’.

“I cannot wait to watch it back. I roped everyone into it. I made Joe [Swash] get down to some crafting, the kids were crafting, I got to do a bit in my neighbour’s house as well.”

Stacey first appeared on The X Factor but has since become a household name after winning I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here in 2010. She is also married to former EastEnders star and fellow King of the Jungle, Joe Swash- who appeared on the show in 2008. The pair have been together for 15 years and tied the knot at their family home in the summer this year.

Speaking about their shared experiences on I’m A Celeb, Stacey revealed they watch the show every year.

She said: “We love the show so much and we were always engrossed in it every single year. I think for us this year it was really special because they went back to Australia.

“Australia, it really feels like a home from home especially for Joe because he did the after show for 10 years and we make it appointment to view, absolutely love it. I enjoyed it this year. I thought it was tough for the celebs because it was political. But I still loved it.”

On top of her upcoming TV shows, Stacey has also found time to release a book called Tap to Tidy about her DIY projects around Pickle Cottage, which is out now.

Stacey Solomon’s Crafty Christmas will air on 15th December at 8pm on BBC One.
