Get the Kleenex out. Be prepared to have your heartstrings pulled by Tom Hanks, his trusty sidekick dog - and their robot companion. Apple TV+ have released the heart-warming trailer for his latest upcoming film Finch and it looks pretty special.

The actor stars in the tear-jerking movie as Finch, a robotics engineer, at the end of the world after a catastrophic solar event who only has his furry friend Goodyear with him and Jeff the robot who he created to look after his beloved pooch after he's gone.

The trio are on a journey of survival through the harsh wasteland in a powerful and poignant journey about life, love and family.

Living in an underground bunker for 10 years, Finch has created a world for the three of them as they take on a gruelling journey to a desolate American West.

Finch wants to show Jeff the wonder, joy, happiness and love that life can bring; and what it means to be alive.

The charming trailer and upcoming movie are sure to leave the audience in bits after highlighting 'what it means to love, and what it is to be loved' even if you don't always get along.

One man, his best friend and his robot pal on a mission of love and determination. Sounds like a winner to us.

Finch will stream globally on Apple TV+ on November 5th, 2021.
