Fans are counting down the days until Bridgerton returns in March.
Season one of the hit series broke records for Netflix after it was released over the Christmas period in 2020.
Now, season two is nearly upon us and it's time for Anthony Bridgerton (played by Jonathan Bailey) to step into the limelight.
The first season focuses on Daphne Bridgerton (Phoebe Dynevor) and the Duke Of Hastings, Simon Basset (Regé-Jean Page).
Fans were distraught when it was revealed Page would not be returning, but the books the series is based on focuses on a different Bridgerton sibling each time.
Season 2 is the turn of the eldest sibling, Anthony, on his quest to find true love.
Page left big shoes to fill, and Bailey told Entertainment Weekly about stepping up: “I felt super kooky and I don't know if that's necessarily unhelpful when it came to Anthony.”
He added: “The one thing I've always remembered reading the script was like, 'Well, this is someone who's incredibly anxious, who can't sleep at night and is struggling to even get through a meal.' That felt quite right that I was feeling similar.”
Anthony promised Daphne he would be committed to finding himself a wife at the end of season one.
Photos ahead of the new series show Anthony's new love interest... except there's more than one.
To complicate things further, he falls for two sisters.
Entertainment Weekly reported: “When the Sharma family moves from Bombay to London, Anthony finds himself immediately pulled toward Edwina (Charithra Chandran), believing her to be his perfect match — until he finds himself attracted to Edwina's sister, Kate (Simone Ashley).”
Bailey revealed: “You can understand why he's drawn to both. And they're both drawn to him in turn.
“It's an interesting love triangle; it's dangerous when it's siblings. It's bestial between them in a way season 1 wasn't. They're all animals with each other.”
