The Baywatch star has spoken and it's time for her to reveal the truth in an 'intimate' and 'definitive' new offering.

The iconic actor shared the news on Instagram in the wake of the unapproved Hulu series which neither Tommy or Pamela had anything to do with.

Her post reads: “My life. A thousand imperfections. A million misperceptions. Wicked, wild and lost. Nothing to live up to. I can only surprise you. Not a victim, but a survivor. And alive to tell the real story.”

The Netflix eye-opener will be directed by Ryan White (The Keepers) and produced by Anderson’s son, Brandon Thomas Lee.

Netflix tweeted: "Pamela Anderson is ready to tell her story in a new documentary. The film, which has been in the making for several years, will feature the pop culture icon setting the record straight as she looks back on her professional path and her personal journey."

The feature will boast exclusive access to Pamela and her private journals over the years and has just been announced following the launch of the Pam & Tommy series based on the leaked sex tape between the two.

Anderson had refrained from being involved with the Hulu show starring Lily James and Sebastian Stan focussing on the fall-out.

James said in an interview with Porter about Pam's rejection: “I wish it had been different. My sole intention was to take care of the story and to play Pamela authentically.”

Speaking to The Sun, the Cinderella star explained about the importance of the intimate scenes: "We really felt that the sex scenes had to be a part of the story and had to be essential to the script and progressing their relationship and looking at what happened.

"It was a really great constant conversation and nothing was set in stone."

Friend of the activist Courtney Love said last year that the show was causing Anderson 'complex trauma'. A source also told Entertainment Tonight that it was 'very painful for Pamela Anderson and for anyone that loves her'.
