Prepare your singing voice, because a special version of Encanto is on its way.

Yes indeed, if you enjoy belting out a Disney song (and, let’s be honest, who doesn’t?) then this special sing-along version of the BAFTA-winning and Oscar-nominated musical film will be right up your street.

However, you haven’t got long to work on your performance in preparation, as it is set to arrive on Disney+ this very week.

Announcing the news on Twitter, Disney sad: “It’s time to sing with La Familia Madrigal. Stream the #Encanto Sing-Along this Friday on #DisneyPlus! #DisneyPlusSingAlong”

The post gave a little preview of what to expect from the sing-along, with lyrics running along the bottom of the screen and changing colour as the viewer is supposed to join in. So, if you have trouble remembering the words to the likes of The Family Madrigal, Waiting On A Miracle or, of course, We Don't Talk About Bruno, then this new version will give you a helping hand with the lyrics, so you can really give it your all!

And here’s the even more exciting news. If you aren’t quite familiar enough with the Encanto songs to really let loose in the sing-along version, then, as reported by The Wrap, Disney are also planning to give some of their other movies similar treatment later this year.

Expected to be given sing-along versions are Beauty and the Beast, and also its live-action remake. And yes, before you ask, Frozen is also set to have its own sing-along version, so we can all pretend to be Elsa and really go for it with the chorus of Let It Go!

Frozen 2 will also be given the lyric treatment.

Encanto is streaming on Disney+ and is also available to buy on DVD, Blu-ray and digital download. The sing-along version will stream from Friday March 18th.
