Britain’s Got Talent viewers left terrified by The Witch but sure it's a famous person in disguise

The nightmare-inducing Britain's Got Talent Witch has got under everyone's skin - and now viewers are sure they know it's a celebrity.

Sofa detectives are certain they have figured out that it's a famous face in disguise.

One keen BGT fan thinks it's none other than magician Pete Firman and posted a picture online.

He replied: "Christ! I’m terrified and I have no idea what this relates to."

The Witch terrified viewers over the weekend, cackling at Amanda: "Do you know why they say beauty's only skin deep? Because we're all rotten to the core," before the apple exploded and released cockroaches and mealworms at the judges.

Others are convinced it's BGT illusionist Marc Spelmann, Keith Lemon or Sherlock's Mark Gatiss behind the creepy mask.

One viewer wrote on Twitter: "Looks like Mark Gatiss in prosthetics to me [laughing emoji]."

Another said: "I was convinced that ‘The Witch’ on BGT was you Mark."
