Star Wars are continuing the May the 4th celebrations with a first look at their new Boba Fett special.

Disney+ have released the first trailer for Disney Gallery: The Book of Boba Fett, which gives a behind-the-scenes look at the spin-off series, with reactions and insight from the cast and crew.

The first series of The Book of Boba Fett followed the famous bounty hunter as he returned to Tatooine with mercenary Fennec Shand to claim back the territory once belonging to Jabba the Hutt.

Not only does the trailer give a glimpse of Boba himself, actor Temuera Morrison, prepping for the iconic role, but it also shows the cast prepping fight choreography and high-octane explosions.

Ming-Na Wen, who plays powerful Fennec on the show, is a big Star Wars fan, and made sure to show her excitement in the trailer.

"I got to ride a Bantha!" Wen says, with incredible enthusiasm.

The Book of Boba Fett aired on Disney+ in December and became hugely popular with the SW fanbase, but has yet to be renewed for a second run.

The exciting latest edition to the SW series comes after Disney shared the new trailer for Star Wars spin-off Obi-Wan Kenobi.

The upcoming series sees Ewan McGregor reprise his role as the iconic Jedi. He previously played Obi-Wan in the three Star Wars prequels.

This new series, starting 27th May, rejoins its titular character 10 years after the events of Revenge of the Sith, in which Obi-Wan battled his pupil and former pal Anakin Skywalker - which led to the latter becoming Darth Vader.

Now, Kenobi is laying low on Tatooine, while keeping a close eye on a young Luke Skywalker from a distance. At this moment in the Star Wars timeline, the Empire is well and truly on top, and all of the Jedis are being chased down and killed by Darth Vader’s Inquisitors.

As well as featuring Ewan McGregor as the bearded Jedi Master, the new six-episode series will also see Hayden Christensen return as Darth Vader.

Disney Gallery: The Book of Boba Fett is available on Disney+ now.
